                                   Jeanna grew up just north of Spokane and graduated from Mead High School. She moved                                     on to WSU where she competed on the track and field team and eventually became a                                             Registered Dietitian. At WSU she met her husband Ben. The two moved to Western                                               Washington for Jeanna’s internship and Ben’s job. Jeanna then worked as a RD for the                                           Snohomish County Women, Infants, and Children Program and local hospitals.

                                   

                                   When their son was about a year old, the couple moved back to the Spokane area. Since                                         then Jeanna has coached many youth sports teams, homeschooled her son and also began                                       volunteering at New Hope 16 years ago. At New Hope she began by helping around the                                         office with miscellaneous tasks and driving seniors. Approximately 10 years ago she  became the Client Services Coordinator. In this volunteer position she facilitated the committee of church representatives and special events. She also served 2 terms on the Board of Directors.

 

In addition to volunteering, Jeanna enjoys her family, her garden and animals, and going to the lake.
